Jocelyn D Jones is the organizer and owner of The House of Genesis Early Childhood Global Learning and the CupCake Babysitting Training Camp in Norcross, Ga.

Miss Jones has always had a passion for children and being involved in the education of children. Currently, Jocelyn Jones is a professor in the Early Childhood Department at Ashworth College. The Early Childhood Department is one of the largest department at Ashworth College with a 95% graduation rate. Alongside, serves on the Early Childhood Advisory Board at Ashworth.

She has worked in non-profit and for profit childcare settings and organizations. Currently, she is a Professional Development (PD) Specialist for the Council For Professional Recognition a national non-profit organization in the early childhood field and a CCP Field Counselor for NECPA. Jones is a mentor for Candidates who are pursuing their Child Development Associate(CDA) through the Council For Professional Recognition.

Jocelyn Jones has extensive direct care and administrative experience. She has taught Early Childhood Education for 16 years. Miss Jones has provided in-house training for teachers as a Program Specialist and earned various awards and recognition during her career for positive curriculum implementation and creativity in the classroom.

Jocelyn Jones holds a Technical Credit Certificate in Early Childhood from Ellis College, proud graduate of Bethune-Cookman University where she received her B.A. in Sociology. She is a graduate of Walden University with a Master’s in Early Childhood Studies with a specialization in Teaching Adults Early Childhood Ed (gpa 4.0).

She is also apart of the Walden University Early Childhood Organization (WUECO) and the National Black Child Development Institute. She gained inspiration and love in the early childhood field from her mother a former business owner in the ECE field.
